Apparently, Lindsay Lohan made contact with the Los Angeles Police Department today.
Given the actress' constant brushes with the law, and the fact she could be facing jail time, one would think Lohan would stay as far away from the cops as possible. However, Lohan says the incident was not what it appeared to be.
The troubled, once adorable child star, says she stopped the police, because she was being followed by paparazzi. Lohan wanted to make it clear to her fans, that if pictures of her with the LAPD surface, she was not being arrested and had done nothing wrong.
"Just waved down a police officer to help me block an x17 paparazzi- thank you LAPD!
his pictures were not coz i got pulled over! he got punk'd," tweeted Lohan.

Have to agree with that;) Maybe her, Charlie and a few others need to start a halfway house for wayward actors!
