Oprah Winfrey is angrier than a lion with a thorn in its paw, and that thorn has a name... Wendy Williams.
According to the National Enquirer, Oprah is upset, because Aretha Franklin granted her much anticipated interview to new-comer, Wendy Williams.
Absolutely disgusted over losing Franklin's interview to a lesser talk show, Oprah described Williams' show as "silly and gossipy", said the Enquirer.
I watched Williams' interview with the Queen of Soul, and although it was great to see Aretha on TV, I thought Williams was way out of her league.
Williams' interview was amateurish, sloppy, and at times... down right ridiculous. When Williams got up and shook her butt in Aretha's face, I almost swallowed my tongue. Very embarrassing.

No Wendy is not on a scale like Oprah and the butt dance was tasteless to say the least.
However Wendy has to make her mistakes too.
It seems that Aretha wanted it to be Wendy.
And so it was.
Maybe the Williams show PAID the "queen" to appear. Oprah doesn't pay guests to be on the "queen" of talk show. I doubt Aretha would have been shaking her booty in Oprah's face or made this interview like reading the "National Enquirer". The loser in this? Aretha Franklin. Bad Choice for an interview.

Sometimes, Oprah's show is silly and gossipy. I'll never forget 1986/1987's Oprah asking "Do you pee in the shower?" and "Do you have oral sex?". :)
towanda, I doubt Aretha would shake her butt in anyone's face, unless maybe the situation warranted it. :) If Aretha didn't have a problem with Wendy's butt shaking, then maybe "we" shouldn't either. :)
For the final season, Oprah stated loud and clear who her guests were. Perhaps, Oprah didn't want Aretha on her show.
I think Aretha did have a problem with Wendy sticking her butt in her face.
When the talk show host starts gyrating in her face, Aretha tells Wendy to get away from her.
That's actually my favorite part of the video - for all the wrong reasons! :-)
