I'm surprised PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has not been all over this story.
Singer Mariah Carey recently tweeted a picture of herself jogging with her five Jack Russell terriers: Cha Cha, Jackie Lambchops, Jill E. Beans, Squeak E. Beans, and JJ.
Mariah, who recently gave birth to twins, and is desperately trying to lose weight, referred to her jogging companions as puppies, "Jogging puppy-style," tweeted Mariah.
If her dogs are in fact puppies, Mariah could be endangering their health.
Too much stress on a young dog's joints could be detrimental to their health.
Furthermore, smaller dogs, with shorter legs, have to work twice as hard to keep up with the average jogger.
