Octavia Spencer, The Help, wins Best Supporting Actress

Sunday, actress Octavia Spencer won a Golden Globe for her portrayal of a stereotypically sassy, black maid.
Spencer beat her co-star, Jessica Chastain and Shailene Woodley from "The Descendants," Janet McTeer in "Albert Nobbs," and Berenice Bejo of "The Artist", for the coveted award.
Blacks in stereotypical roles are frequently rewarded in Hollywood.
If you think I'm lying... just ask Halle Berry, who won an Oscar for playing a black woman whose baby-daddy was in prison for murder and Denzel Washington who won an award for playing a disgusting drug dealer in the film, Training Day.
