First, Britney Spears embarrassed herself by prematurely announcing that Enrique Iglesias was going to join her U.S. tour... now she's begging Usher to be her opening act.
29-year-old Britney Jean Spears, who now dances like a 92-year-old used up Vegas showgirl, is in quite the pickle. It seems no one wants to play second fiddle on her tour.
When MTV host, Sway Calloway, asked Britney who she would like to go out on the road with, Brit-Brit said, "I think Usher's really great right now. I think he's really hot right now. That would be cool."
Here's the dirt children: No one wants to be a part of Britney's tour, because everyone thinks she is on her way out. During her hiatus, a large chunk of Britney's fan base flocked to Lady Gaga and Katy Perry's camp.
Britney Spears has never been that good of a singer, and now that she dances like her back hurts, a lot of industry insiders are dismissing her, all together.
Trust me, no one wants to put their reputation on the line, by playing in barely filled arenas.
