Wyclef Jean was not shot in Haiti - HOAX - political stunt?

Wyclef Jean claims a bullet grazed his hand.

Just like his feigned interest in helping the people of Haiti, part-time hip-hop artist and full-time egomaniac, Wyclef Jean, is milking the headlines for all they're worth.

It has been falsely reported that Wyclef Jean was shot in the hand in Delmas, Haiti. The story goes: Wyclef was riding in a flashy BMW SUV with Busta Rhymes, Jimmy Rosemond, and other members of his posse, when gunfire exploded.

A picture of Wyclef and his bandaged hand have been plastered all over the Internet. But, clearly, things are not what they appear to be.

Subsequent reports indicate Wyclef was not shot in the hand. The Haitian doctor who treated Wyclef's injuries, said the celebrity's hand was cut by glass.

Investigators also examined the armored vehicle Wyclef was riding in at the time of the alleged shooting. They found no evidence bullets struck Wyclef's SUV.

My opinion: Wyclef is using a fake assassination attempt to sway the vote in the Haitian presidential election - a ploy that obviously worked. According to reliable sources, Michel Martelly, the candidate Wyclef supports - is ahead in the polls by 73%.

Failed hip-hop career? Run for president of some third world country. Than, take the money and run. This guy is just a loser, plain & simple!
