George Zimmerman, Trayvon Martin killer, free on $150,000 bond

The gasp heard around the world.

Killer, 28-year-old George Zimmerman, is due to be released on 150K bond, ordered a Florida judge, Kenneth Lester.

Zimmerman will be fitted with an electronic monitoring device and he will have to check in with authorities, daily.

During the bond hearing, Zimmerman offered an obligatory apology to Trayvon Martin's family and Zimmerman admitted that he didn't know how old Martin was.

Zimmerman also said he didn't realize the 17-year-old boy was unarmed.

The state completely botched the bond hearing by putting a painfully unprepared investigator on the witness stand.

Thanks to their lousy presentation, an alleged murderer will get to roam the streets... pending his trial.
