Was it a terrorist attack?
There are disturbing reports that 26-year-old Tyler Brehm, the man responsible for the December 9, 2011 Hollywood shootout at Sunset and Vine, shouted "Allahu Akbar" during his seemingly random shooting spree.
Brehm was shot dead Friday after he seriously wounded a man while wildly firing his weapon at several passing motorists.
A frantic eyewitness told KTLA 5 that Brehm shouted "Allahu Akbar" as he callously shot at innocent civilians.
According to local residents, the chilling eyewitness account was later removed KTLA's coverage.
Allahu Akbar, which means God is greater or God is the greatest, is frequently shouted during Muslim terrorist attacks.
About a month before Brehm's Hollywood rampage, postings on the 26-year-old man's Facebook page suggested he was looking forward to an upcoming visit with his sister.
"Finally got enough room for company out here and a great view of the Hollywood sign from my living room, come visit soon," posted Brehm on November 13, 2011.
On December 6, three days before his death, Brehm changed his Facebook relationship status from "in a relationship" to "single".
