Two weeks before Whitney Houston took her last breath at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on the eve of the Grammy Awards show, at least one doctor was reportedly concerned about her health.
Dr. Marc Mani, a board certified Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, refused to perform a facelift on Whitney Houston after she failed a routine medical examine, said a source, to Radaronline.com.
The source claims Houston was concerned about her appearance, which might be true, since she was running around with Ray J., who is 17-years her junior.
"Dr. Mani refused to confirm whether Houston, 48, who was found dead in the bathtub of her suite on Feb. 11, 2012, had attended his clinic, citing federal medical privacy laws," said Radaronline.com.
While the inference is that Houston was allegedly denied a facelift because of her health, there are other reasons a plastic surgeon may refuse to operate on a patient.
A patient on certain medication may be at risk for serious and even life-threatening complications: Such as profuse bleeding during the procedure or post-op infections.
