Apparently, a $2 million a year salary isn't enough to civilize some people.
On December 22, 2011, New York City taxi driver, Mohamed Ammar, picked up Morgan Stanley investment banker, W. Bryan Jennings, in Midtown and agreed to drive him to his home in Darien, Connecticut, said police.
According to the New York Post, Jennings agreed to pay Ammar $204 for the 43-mile trip.
However, when Jennings reached his destination, he flipped out and tried to stab to the cabby to death, said investigators.
Ammar told the press that Jennings refused to pay him... told him to go back to his country... and stabbed him the hand with a penknife.
Adding insult to literal injury, Jennings, who reportedly earns 2 million a year, allegedly told the injured cab driver that he could get away with killing him, because he pays $10,000 in taxes.
The alleged corporate thug has been charged with assault, larceny, and committing a hate crime, reports the New York Post.
