Alleged photo of George Zimmerman's injured, bloodied head surfaces

Written By Alfred Haynes on Friday, April 20, 2012 | Friday, April 20, 2012

A photo taken by an unidentified cameraman purportedly shows injuries to killer George Zimmerman's head... but is the picture real or photoshopped?

ABC News released the photo with the caveat that ABC is not certain the picture is legitimate.

In the photo, there appear to be two cuts on the back of Zimmerman's head... which could have been self-inflicted.

The picture was taken with an iPhone on February 26, 2012, around 7:19 p.m. - just moments after Zimmerman shot the unarmed teenager to death, reports ABC.

Today, Florida judge, Kenneth Lester, set Zimmerman's bond at $150,000 after the state failed to present a strong argument that Zimmerman should be denied bail or released on a 1 million dollar bond.

So far, it looks like special prosecutor Angela Corey arrested Zimmerman and overcharged the case in order to placate those calling for Zimmerman's arrest.

Which may explain why Corey was smiling at Zimmerman the day he was arrested and stood before a judge.

Mark my words, George Zimmerman will not be convicted of killing or murdering Trayvon Martin... Zimmerman will walk on self-defense.

Is that Trayvon, dead on the ground in a gray hoodie, in the background on the right side of the photo of Zimmerman with a bloody head? The person who took that photo claimed he saw the powder burns from the gunshot on Trayvon's sweatshirt. How did he see them when Trayvon was found face down when the police arrive? Did this person and Zimmerman turn him over? Did the person who took the photo also hit Zimmerman in the head with Zimmerman's gun, to make it appear as though he had his head slammed on the concrete? I don't see how concrete would make two tiny cuts on his skull, especially where they are located. The blood is trickling fresh from the cuts, there doesn't appear to be any dirt/grass/debris on his head, and the blood would have been smudged up had he moved his head on the ground in the least little way. Wouldn't Zimmerman have put his hand to the back of his head? No blood on his hand? Isn't that reflex when you've been hurt? These injuries appear to have occurred after Trayvon was killed.

This picture was staged. Anyone with average intelligence can see that this photo makes no sense at all.
