Robert Rivkin, aka Bobby Z. (third from the left) recently suffered a major heart attack.

Bobby Z, whose real name is Robert Rivkin, suffered a heart attack back in January. The 55-year-old iconic musician was taken to the ER after experiencing pain is his neck, arms, and chest.

Doctors discovered three blocked arteries in Rivkin's heart. As of February, two of those arteries had been repaired. Physicians will address the third artery once Rivkin is strong enough to withstand a second surgery.

According to Wikipedia, Rivkin, who achieved fame playing drums in Prince's band, The Revolution, worked with Prince from 1978 to 1986.

Reportedly, Prince reached out to Rvikin and invited him to play Purple Rain on stage, when he’s feeling better.

Wendy and Lisa also sent their former bandmate, their love and best wishes.

Bobby, get well, soon!
