It's official!
Paula Abdul, a woman who couldn't carry a tune if it were duct taped to her forehead, is set to judge Simon Cowell's American version of X Factor.
Abdul, who will be joining British singer Cheryl Cole, former Def Jam President L.A. Reid, and Cowell, will be the fourth judge on the highly anticipated talent show.
Although Abdul doesn't have the chops to critique a singing competition, her on screen chemistry with Cowell helped propel American Idol into a household name.
X Factor with debut this fall on Fox.

While I feel Paula's singing is ok, her expertise is dancing. :)
I hope this is true. I was praying for this! I was hoping the reason she left American Idol a couple of seasons ago was to make the X factor even more anticipated. Her antics on painkillers are hilarious. I hope that she isn't in too much pain though, bless her.
It's been rumored that Paula Abdul suffers from RSD (Reflexive Sympathetic Dystrophy). If that's Paula in is severe pain most of the time.
