One of the reasons Oprah’s new network, OWN, continues to struggle with its ratings, is because the owner is out of touch with reality.

Oprah may have ended her preachy, feely talkshow - but she is still trying to tell people what to do with their lives.

During her one-hour interview with Facebook’s COO, Sherly Sandberg, the former queen of talk made a shocking confession. She forces her staff to meditate!

Then, adding insult to injury, Oprah equated her employees to children.

Here is what Oprah said:

“One of the things we are doing at my companies now, everybody is learning to meditate. And everybody gets are thrown by the word meditate. So I said to them the other day, let’s not call it meditation. Let’s just call it quiet time. When you teach children meditation, you don’t call it meditation, you call it quiet time. Twice a day at OWN, we take quiet time,” said Oprah.

The person who wrote this article is immature. The remarks are ridiculous. Many businesses have asked their staff to meditate and the results have been proven to be beneficial on many levels- including improved relationships with co-workers and more creativity and productivity. The results have been published. You can be sure Oprah researched it all before she made her decision.
