Canceled: Was Nate Berkus too gay for daytime TV?

Written By Alfred Haynes on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 | Tuesday, December 13, 2011

Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Studios, along with Sony TV, has pulled the plug on the Nate Berkus Show.

Rumor has it, Nate failed to connect with daytime TV's mostly female, mostly straight audience; and suspect it's because he's a known homosexual.

I also think the show failed because it felt like a fraud. That, and the fact that Nate has all the personality of a snotty Shih Tzu.

After all, being cute and being entertaining are too different things.

I own several "cute" paintings, but I don't want to look at them for an hour, everyday.
