Osama bin Laden already buried at sea

Written By Alfred Haynes on Monday, May 2, 2011 | Monday, May 02, 2011

What's the rush?

Apparently, Osama bin Laden's body has already been disposed of, tossed into the sea. Really? Which one?

Officials say Bin Laden was dumped into a watery grave, because they didn't want his burial site to become a shrine.

The White House claims DNA samples prove the person killed in the mansion in Abbattobad, Pakistan is Bin Laden.

However, their hasty decision to get rid of the Al Qaeda leader's body, is sure to raise a million question.

People are already asking, "Is Bin Laden really dead?"

Well if Osama suddenly pops up in living colour on a video that can be proven to have been recorded AFTER the time the US said he was killed, all the baby wipes in the world won't remove the egg stains from Obama's face. Make that chicken poop, not egg stains.

But, somehow, I don't think that will happen. They'll have kept a little portion of the guy in a test tube so that independent tests can prove it truly was him.

Out of respect for Islamic belief and maybe diplomacy, he had to be "buried" within 24 hours. And why give him a burial site so he can be glorified? The sea is where he belonged.

FYI;
Washington (CNN) -- Osama bin Laden was buried at sea from the deck of a U.S. aircraft carrier because there was "no land alternative," a senior Department of Defense official said Monday.
"When there is no land alternative, Islamic law dictates that the body be buried within 24 hours, and that was the basis," the official said.
Another defense official said says there was no country willing or able to accept the body for burial, and U.S. forces "took pains to observe Muslim law."

As not a trace was found of many of the 9/11 victims, it seems fitting somehow that nothing remains of bin Laden. To me, that is (almost poetic) justice.

T., I haven't had a chance to visit any of the political chat rooms, but I bet the conspiracy theorists are having a ball with Bin Laden's burial at sea! :-)
