Morgan Freeman: 'Obama presidency made racism worse', 'Tea Party is racist'

In a recent interview with boring CNN TV host Piers Morgan, Oscar winner Morgan Freeman tackled the issue of race, Obama, and the Tea Party.

The silver-haired actor best known for his roles in Driving Miss Daisy and Lean On Me, said Obama's presidency has made racism in American, worse.

Freeman forgot to add that Obama's time in the White House hasn't done much for the economy, either.

"The Tea Party controls the republican party. They publicly stated that their policy is to do whatever it takes to get that black man out of office. They said, 'Screw this country! We are gonna do whatever we can to get this black man out of here!" said Freeman.

Taking a few more shots at the Tea Party, whom I might add, is single-handedly responsible for elevating the political profile of geniuses like Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann, Freeman said the Tea Party represents the "weak dark side of America".

Whether he is right or wrong, Freeman is a hypocrite.

In a 2009 interview with Mike Wallace, Freeman said we should stop talking about race in America.

Yet, here he is... chatting away about racism.
