Alleged police brutality outside Eugene, Oregon bar and grill

University of Oregon campus police were reportedly caught on tape throwing a man head-first into the pavement.

The alleged police brutality/excessive force was filmed outside Taylor's Bar & Grill, 894 East 13th Avenue, on December 4, 2011, around 1:40 a.m.

Seconds before police took the man down, hard, someone in the crowd yelled, "Mike! Mike!"

When the man hit the ground, onlookers could be heard gasping in disbelief.

One online critic called the officers' actions "disgusting and appalling".
